Bob Dylan Norfolk Municipal Auditorium Concert Poster (1966)
The Bob Dylan World Tour 1966 was a concert tour undertaken by Bob Dylan from February to May 1966. This was notable as the first tour where Dylan was accompanied by an electric band, following his electric debut at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival. His band was known as The Hawks; it would later become known as The Band. This series of shows was the last that Dylan would play for quite some time. He canceled all bookings following his motorcycle accident on July 29, 1966. Few of these handbills survived and they are rarely seen in this top condition.
